Marshmallow Duel
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
Marshmallow Duel, originally created by Duncan Gill in 1996, is a timeless side-on fighting game that has stood the test of time. Despite its simple 2D graphics and basic sound effects, the game's endless playability cements its place as one of the best underground computer games ever made. Even though official distribution ended years ago, Marshmallow Duel remains a beloved gem among dedicated fans.
This revamped version adds controller support and allows up to four players to duke it out simultaniously. Players must eliminate their opponents by knocking them into the marshmallow pit at the bottom of the screen or using an array of weapon power-ups to defeat them. With fast-paced gameplay that demands both quick reflexes and strategic thinking, do you have what it takes to emerge victorious in this frantic battle?

I wanted to keep the game as true to the original as possible so the original controls are still in tact (for better or worse). I've also added controller support to the game, and that's generally recommended.
- WASD and Q (or E) are P1's controls.
- 8456 and 7 (or 9) are P2's controls.
Have fun!
